Back indoors again...the color changes; this process can be repeated over and over again!  That is the charm of solar active thread.  All the solar active threads are basically pale shades of thread color indoors, but when they are exposed to sunlight, they change color, to a brighter color!  then revert to their original color when out of the sunlight.

Solar active thread is embroidery thread that changes color in sunlight.  You can use solar active thread just like any other 40-weight embroidery thread to enhance and embellish your embroidery designs.



The color change effect of solar active embroidery thread normally lasts for at least 2000 cycles, which is generally the life of the garment. The color change effect will eventually fade, but even then, the embroidered design will still look great. Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low heat. Do not dry clean, bleach or iron directly on the solar active thread.
